Hong Kong
Hong Kong (officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China and commonly abbreviated as HK) is a special administrative region on the eastern side of the Pearl River estuary in southern China and has over 7.4 million residents. Hong Kong has a subtropical climate with a summer that is hot and humid, and mild winters.
It has an impressive skyline, with 300+ towers that are taller than 150 metres, but there are also lots of green areas, together with beaches to the south and impressive hills to the north.
Hong Kong has a very good education system and a highly developed public transport network. It also boasts a great selection of restaurants and bars.
Culturally, Hong Kong is often described as a hybrid of east and west, where Chinese family values remain important alongside western ideals.
