BVI
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) are an overseas territory of the United Kingdom. Located in the north-eastern Caribbean, the BVI enjoys a sub-tropical climate ranging from 25°C in winter to 29°C in summer. Ogier established its BVI law firm in 2007, and our people have a long-standing commitment to the jurisdiction.
Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands are a British Overseas Territory in the western Caribbean. The climate is tropical, with temperatures ranging from 27°C in winter to 31°C in the summer. Our Cayman office was established in 1991 and officially became Ogier following the first ever transatlantic merger in the offshore world in 2004.
Dubai
Ogier's newest office, which opened in 2023, places us in a jurisdiction that is as dynamic as it is diverse.
A city celebrated for its blend of Arabian traditions and a vibrant, modern lifestyle, Dubai is a melting pot of cultures. The city enjoys a strategic location that serves as a hub connecting the East and West. Dubai's appeal for professionals encompasses a safe environment, robust infrastructure, and a wealth of opportunities for career and personal growth in a progressive and innovative city.
Guernsey
The second largest Channel Island, Guernsey is a thriving, well-regulated centre for finance. With its unspoilt scenery, cobbled streets and historic monuments. It prides itself as a haven of natural beauty and charm. Ogier has had a presence in Guernsey for more than 20 years.
Hong Kong
Culturally, Hong Kong is often described as a hybrid of East and West, where Chinese family values remain important alongside western ideals. Ogier established a presence in Hong Kong at the start of 2006, recognising the use of Hong Kong companies in global and Asian business, and its importance to global as well as Asian clients.
Ireland
With a population of more than 4.9 million, the Republic of Ireland has been named as the “best country for business” by a number of ranking publications over the years. Ireland has long been a destination of choice for many foreign companies due to a number of economic factors.
Jersey
Jersey is the most southerly of the British Isles, with its status as a Crown Dependency providing constitutional rights of self-government and judicial independence. Jersey's success as an international finance centre comes from its stability. We can trace our roots in Jersey as far back as 1867.
London
Besides being one of the most famous cities in the world, London is also arguably the world's financial capital. With more than 9 million inhabitants (and counting) it is comfortably the biggest city in the UK and the most culturally diverse. Our office is at the heart of the City.
Luxembourg
Luxembourg – officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg – borders France, Germany and Belgium. The culture is best described as a mixture of French and German, as reflected in its three official languages - French, German and Luxembourgish. We were the first offshore firm to open an office in Luxembourg and our team there continues to grow.
